Michael Olowu, Esq.

Mr. Michael Olowu, Esq., was born and raised in River State, Nigeria. He immigrated to the United States of America alone at the age of 18 years with only $500 to his name; without family or friends’ support, he put himself through college and law school. After graduating with honors from Tennessee State University, he earned his Juris Doctorate at Florida Coastal School of Law.

Michael's Career

Mr. Olowu started his legal career working for the residents of Florida as a prosecutor at the State Attorney’s Office in Broward County, Florida.  While serving as a prosecutor, he was responsible for investigating and prosecuting hundreds of cases across several divisions in County and Circuit Court, including motions to suppress, pretrial motions, depositions, and jury and non-jury trials. As a Prosecutor, he developed a reputation as a trial attorney, fearless and unrelenting in pursuing justice, having tried over 40 jury and non-jury trials to verdict as a lead attorney with an impressive conviction rate. In 2020, he was named trial convictor by the Broward County State Attorney’s Office Newsletter for his trial count and impressive conviction rate. 

Prior to establishing his own law practice, Mr. Olowu worked as an Associate at Fasi & DiBello P.A., a prominent litigation firm specializing in Tort Defense, Commercial Litigation, Construction Law, Medical Malpractice, and Tobacco Litigation. Mr. Olowu represented individuals and Fortune 50 companies in an array of litigation matters in State and Federal courts. At Fasi & DiBello P.A., Mr. Olowu’s practice focused on cases involving Premises Liability, Tobacco Litigation, Product Liability, and Medical Malpractice. He handles cases from the filing of initial pleadings through the final resolution at trial. Mr. Olowu has conducted hundreds of depositions and evidentiary hearings and achieved countless favorable rulings and settlements for his clients. Most recently, in July 2022, Mr. Olowu, as lead counsel, received a complete defense verdict on behalf of his client, saving his client $1.57 million. Mr. Olowu is admitted to practice law in Florida State and Federal court.
